Welcome to the Totnes Community Wind Farm!

The world currently faces the twin challenges of climate change and energy security. Renewable energy has a vital role to play in tackling these threats. Time for local communities to take action! A number of Totnes residents have set up the Totnes Renewable Energy Society. The main goal of this community initiative is to do our bit for the environment by utilising our local wind, biomass, hydro and solar energy resources whilst for our mutual benefit.

We are looking to develop a small scale local wind farm that will feed green electricity straight into the local grid distribution network. This website aims to keep you updated on our progress.
